SUMMARY:2-Day Free Software Carpentry “Python” Workshop at Medical Campus 11/2-3
DESCRIPTION:Software Carpentry helps researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on Python workshop will cover basic concepts and tools\, including program design\, version control\, data management\, and task automation. The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems. \nThursday + Friday 11/2-3/2023 | 9:00-4:30 Course Hours Both Days\nThis Session is FULL | Syllabus\nLOCATION\nMiami Clinical and Translational Science Institute\nDon Soffer Clinical Research Center (formerly Clinical Research Building or “CRB”)\n1120 NW 14th Street\, Rooms 710 R&Q\nMiami\, FL 33136 \nPARKING\nYou may park in the building’s parking garage. Parking spaces are available throughout the garage at a rate of $1.00 per hour\, with a max charge of $8.00/per day.
