As we enter the New Year, the Institute for Data Science and Computing (IDSC) at the University of Miami is committed to advancing Miami’s role as a global technology hub. With its strategic location in the Americas and a deep and diverse multicultural talent pool, Miami is making great strides in attracting Fortune 500 technology companies, growing homegrown businesses, and nurturing innovative startups in a wide range of industries.
To accelerate that strong momentum, IDSC offers a unique set of IT resources to the private, public, and academic sectors. Our team has the expertise and experience to support R&D initiatives in healthcare, manufacturing, communications, real estate, and fintech to name just a few verticals. We can also provide access to our powerful supercomputers as well as advanced data, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and extended reality (XR) tools. IDSC data science and computing faculty and students are well prepared to assist IDSC partners in South Florida and beyond.
As an understanding of data science rapidly becomes a foundation for career success, we are also dedicated to building digital skills at every level of today’s workforce. Along with undergraduate and graduate programs, we can provide customized professional training that meets the needs of South Florida employers. This includes upskilling and reskilling offerings for IT professionals, as well as “data science 101” programs for supervisors, managers, and senior leaders seeking to build their knowledge and make well-informed investment decisions.
Whether you are looking for fresh ideas, preparing an IT initiative, or seeking to develop your workforce, reach out to our team at IDSC. We can be an invaluable partner to your organization, and contribute to the bright future of our community.
