National Day of Civic Hacking A Success

CCS and others from UM participated in the National Day of Civic Hacking. Overall, 217 participants, both young and old, attended the event here in Miami. Participants were presented with challenges contributed by Miami-Dade County as well as from Federal agencies. Topics ranged from local neighborhood issues to improvements in healthcare and the environment, to name a few. The event took place on Saturday and Sunday, June 1- 2, 2013. Read more.
