Pedro Davila joined the University of Miami Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing (formerly the “Center for Computational Science”) as a systems administrator with the high-performance computing core in May 2011. Prior to joining IDSC, Pedro was a systems administrator with UM’s IT Student Support Services where he administered more than four dozen Linux and Windows servers, including the University computer labs and Red Hat Network Satellite Server. Pedro provides end-user support and systems administration for the core, holding primary responsibility for datacenter operations, databases and web programming for the core. Currently, Pedro works in support of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center applications.

Proud to be a Miami Hurricane, Pedro obtained his BS and MS in Computer Science from the University of Miami in 2003 and 2005.
