Women in STEM: A Speaker’s Panel, Thursday 3/17/2016
The National Organization for Women at UM and UConnect presents Women in STEM: A Speaker’s Panel on Thursday, March 17th, 2016, at 7:00 PM in the Shalala Student Center Complex East Ballroom.
The discussion will highlight how gender affects the workplace environment, success in male-dominated fields, and breaking the glass ceiling. We will have four accomplished female panelists representing each of the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discuss how gender affects the workplace environment, success in male-dominated fields, and breaking the glass ceiling.
Panelists will be answering moderated questions about their experiences as women in the STEM field as well as taking questions from the attendees, which will make for a fun and interactive event and a potential opportunity for networking. Please see the flyer below for more information.
