Computation + Journalism Symposium 2025 12/11+12

Computation + Journalism Symposium 2025 12/11+12
December 11 @ 9:00 am - December 12 @ 5:00 pm
$150.00
Authoritarian movements are on the rise worldwide. This has led to the degradation or outright destruction of trustworthy data, and to increasingly hostile environments where attacks on knowledge-creation and -dissemination professions and institutions—journalism and academia included—are becoming everyday news.
The Computation + Journalism Symposium (C+J) will cast light on this challenge, aiming to become a forum to discuss how to face it.
Join us for two days of talks, workshops, round table sessions, and paper presentations. We are open to submissions not related to this year’s theme (Data Journalism Under Autocracy) and, more generally, about any topic at the intersection of computation and journalism. C+J is a space for anyone working at, or curious about, the intersections of computation and journalism.
