Applications Now Being Accepted for 2015-2016 IDSC Fellows
IDSC Fellows Program 2015-2016: Join In, Make a Difference, Stand Out . . . The Institute for Data Science and Computing is pleased to announce the launch of the IDSC Fellows Program for this academic year.
Our mission is to inspire a new generation of leaders in computational science by offering students the opportunity to work in a broad, cross-disciplinary research setting.
Fellowship is awarded to 2 undergraduate students (sophomore level or above), and to 2 graduate students (in their 2nd year or above). IDSC Fellows gain valuable computational skills, and the Program consistently results in continued cross-disciplinary collaborations among the participants and their mentors.
Fellows will have the opportunity to use IDSC’s world-class Advanced Computing facilities for their research, and to work closely with IDSC faculty, members, and staff.
Fellows will present their work to UM Faculty and Researchers at the IDSC Fellows Program Symposium in the spring.
Application Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2015
Applicants may be from any School or Department at UM, and must be in good standing.
