PubMed Class Offered at Medical Campus Tuesday 8/23/2011

PubMed provides free access to MEDLINE, the National Library of Medicine’s database of citations and abstracts in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, health care systems, and preclinical sciences. Learn more about using PubMed during a class being held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the Louis Calder Memorial Library, 3rd-floor electronic classroom. During the class, you will learn to set up and use your “My NCBI” account to save your search strategies, automatically run those strategies with only new results sent to your email, and save collections of references for future use. You will also get a refresher on medical subject headings and the use of limits.
