Beginners HPC Workshop Gables 10/24 & 28/2013

The Institute for Data Science and Computing is offering two High Performance Computing Workshops, this time at the College of Engineering. This is a beginner-level workshop providing instruction on how to access and use your domain-specific applications on the University’s HPC resources.

PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP – all OS supported

Day 1  Thursday October 24th, 2013, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Training covers absolute basics of Unix/Linux , and the GNU nano editor. A temporary Pegasus account will be issued.

Day 2  Monday October 28th, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break in the middle.
Pre-requisites: Working knowledge of nano and a Pegasus account. (Provided in Day 1)
