Call for Posters and Demos for IDSC Day 2027 on 1/22

You are invited to join us for the 4th annual IDSC Day on Friday, January 22, 2027! Convening a vibrant mix of scholars, clinicians, educators, students, and innovators who span the public and private sectors, this event showcases cutting-edge research through keynote presentations, demos and posters, and collaborative discussions that foster new ideas and partnerships. We are pleased to welcome Carolina Cruz-Neira and Eric W. Shamlin as keynote speakers.
This year’s theme, Digital Twins, arrives at a fascinating inflection point. Our ability to model increasingly complex systems, be them cities and ecosystems, hospitals and entire industries, or single animal cells, is growing rapidly, and with it the questions we can now answer. The most interesting Digital Twins move beyond what we can simulate and toward what these models allow us to predict, understand, and ultimately change to improve the world around us. As Digital Twins grow more immersive, more intelligent, and more embedded in how we make decisions, they raise a series of essential questions: What types of questions are Digital Twins particularly well poised to answer? How are Digital Twins being used across a range of disciplines? Who decides what gets built, what gets trusted, and to what end? IDSC Day 2027 seeks to provide answers to these and many other questions.
Join us in the Great Hall of the Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Science Building, located at 1201 Memorial Drive. Registration includes complimentary parking, lunch, and a networking reception. This event is free and open to the public. Register Now
