Our trained instructors will lead you through a comprehensive, hands-on overview of what you can do with R, using an example dataset. We will go from reading data into R to data types, functions, conditional statements, loops, how to write in RMarkdown, as well as best practices for writing R code that other people can understand and use. 3rd annual Girl Scouts Can draws 38 Participants

On December 4, 2016, IDSC Training & Outreach had the pleasure of welcoming 38 Girl Scouts to the second annual “Girl Scouts Can” Tech Event. The girls were eager and enthusiastic to meet computer scientists and graduate students in computational fields who led them through activities designed to create a scaffold of computational thinking and inquiry.
