
Hundreds of school children and University of Miami scientists celebrated Brain Awareness Week at the Miami Brain Fair 2016 on Saturday, March 12th from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Fieldhouse of the Bank United Center. This event was hosted by the University of Miami Neuroscience Graduate and Undergraduate Programs, as well as:

Activities included: Brain Puzzles, Holding a Real Brain, Face Painting, Puppet Shows, Seeing Your Own Neurons Work, Learning How the Brain Works, Building Neuron, and Brain Bee, and Brain Jeopardy. The Brain Bee is similar to a spelling bee, where students compete as individuals. The Brain Jeopardy! is similar to the game Jeopardy! where a team of 4 students and 1 alternate compete as a team.
