Catch the Replay: Spring 2023 IDSC Town Hall
IDSC is broadening its computational resources and services! This Town Hall meeting showcased IDSC’s advanced computing resources, systems and data engineering services, workforce development and educational programming, as well as our research focus areas, outreach, events, and engagement opportunities.
Held online on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the Town Hall offered a look at all that IDSC offers. The IDSC Advanced Computing service unit business model was shared, and we introduced our subsidy programs designed to help the heavy supercomputer user as well as the uninitiated. IDSC is committed to promoting data science to enhance data science understanding within the University’s research community, and offers four grants programs for faculty or students:
- Expanding the Use of Collaborative Data Science at UM
- Access to IDSC Resources for Early Career Researchers
- Advanced Computing for Students
- Bridge Awards for Degree and Program Continuity
We believe in a collaborative approach that brings together talented minds in multiple disciplines to leverage the University’s state-of-the-art technology. Explore how the U’s powerful resources in data science and computing can help you achieve research, training, and business goals. This event was free and open to the public.
