Dr. Rajesh Pasupuleti is currently working as a Scientist at Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing (IDSC), University of Miami. He has 16 years of experience in data science, AI, ML, cybersecurity, supercomputers, and containers applications, and has performed various roles in industry and academic research and administration, recently completing three Large Language Models projects.
Previously, Dr. Pasupuleti worked as a Data Scientist for System Soft Technologies in California, under the Elysium project (threat detection analysis using ELK Stack). He also worked on the “Network Forensics Investigation in Virtual Datacenters” project at Northern Illinois University, in Dekalb. In addition, he held a role as Academic Outreach Advisor at Ureka Groups Dubai’s Technology Entrepreneur Centre in London.
Dr. Pasupuleti has experience in LLM Enterprise Application Development, Multi Agent AI Workflow n8n, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Data Scientist, AI, ML, Hugging Face AI models , Cyber Security Analyst (SIEM Solutions ELK stack, Splunk), HPC Supercomputing (Triton, Pegasus, CUDA, Nextflow), Container (Kubernetes, Singularity), Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Snowflake, Spark, Knime, Tableau, IBM Watson analytics, AZURE ML Studio, Power BI, Looker, Grafana, Amazon, Azure cloud, IBM Triton, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Delta lake, and HPC Linux operations.
He also served on the Technical Program Committee for various international conferences and journals in India, Thailand, China, Spain, Canada, Kuwait, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, the U.S., and Dubai. His research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Privacy Preserving, Business and Big Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, Cyber Security, LLM models, and Generative AI.
IDSC Implementations
- Contributed to IDSC-ACS priorities by supporting workforce development, improving research computing support, and advancing AI/HPC capabilities , LLM Chatbots, Multimodal RAG class agents for faculty and researchers.
- Provided software support and Grafana, Xdmod , OnDemand tool, GPU MIG , esub, Resource optimization metrics development that increased the effectiveness and ROI of research computing resources, while also helping users adopt HPC, AI/ML, and Singularity containerized workflows more efficiently.
- Supported department priorities by improving operational readiness for scalable AI LLM HPC Research services, strengthening user support, and contributing to new technical frameworks aligned with future research and grant opportunities.
- Contributed advanced organizational goals by improving HPC resource utilization, supporting AI and data science workflows, and enabling broader adoption of advanced computing across multiple research domains Engineering, Medical, Climate, Biology, supported across Pegasus, Triton, and Sylvester Clusters.
- Provided Pegasus, Triton, SCCC Cluster utilization reports and analysis reports to higher official’s monthly basis and presidential AI Cluster utilization report on Pegasus and Triton.
- Developed and deployed Open AI LLM Chatbot for providing better HPC services to IDSC Supercomputing researchers and faculty.
- Implementation and documentation on HPC-based machine learning container applications like python Script, GUI Jupyter Notebook, Interactive applications using MATLAB and R, GUI R Studio Server, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LSF Job with singularity CPU, GPU access on Pegasus HPC cluster nodes, running Nextflow MCMICRO, custom configuration, nf-core modules. Evaluated performance with CPU and GPU container applications.
- Developed and deployed Capstone Web application project in Linux VM using XAMPP, PHP, and MySQL.
- Created Sylvester, Pegasus, Triton cluster resource, service utilization, and visualization dashboards on Service Units, CPU, Memory units, project, queue, Users wise using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, PostgreSQL.
- Attended Super Computing Conferences (SC23, SC 24) and shared knowledge about new technologies HPC, AI, and LLM models approaches to IDSC team members.
- Presented two posters on IDSC Day on generative AI threat detection analysis and HPC Based Container applications.
- Provided IDSC Seminar presentation on both Grafana and IDSC Chatbot.
- Attended Super Computing Conference (SC23) and shared knowledge about new technologies approaches to IDSC team members.
- Provided reports, and documentation as per Stephan Schurer’s Sylvester cluster Requirements on Grafana Sylvester SCCC cluster Dashboard creation and storage visualizations.
- Provided Grafana Dashboard top CPU GPU users and Five-year Summary statistics Report for all three cluster (Triton, Pegasus, Sylvester).
