What if massive data sets could be accessed and analyzed in just an hour, instead of a day? These are some of the possibilities that lay ahead as the University’s new supercomputer was installed at the Equinix Network Access Point of the Americas, also known as “the NAP”, in downtown Miami. Adult central nervous system (CNS) neurons are unable to regenerate their axons after injury. Krüppel-like transcription factor (KLF) family members regulate intrinsic axon growth ability in vitro and in vivo, but mechanisms downstream of these transcription factors are not known. The checkpoints are designed to allow registered teams to present their progress and to receive feedback from the judges.
