He is also a Professor of Radiology (Vice-Chair for Research) and a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology). Dr. Fayad is the founding Director of the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute (ranked 15th in 2021 NIH funding in the field of Radiology).
