New Storage System Simplifies Data Sharing

The Sunshine State Education and Research Computing Alliance (SSERCA) has partnered with DDN Data Direct Networks  to create a system that allows members of SSERCA to securely share data with speed and ease. This partnership has produced a high-performance storage system for member institutions like the University of Florida (UF), University of Central Florida, and University of Miami. The system allows each institution to use their own identity management system and store data with multiple options for security and replication.
