The DIALOGUES IN RESEARCH ETHICS monthly conference series hosted by UM Miller School of Medicine | Institute for Bioethics & Health Policy is pleased to welcome Dr. Jodyn Platt for a special guest lecture. Grants
Researchers from Florida Atlantic University’s Schmidt College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Caridad Health Center, Inc., and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, have received a $500,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for a project to tackle chronic health disparities through the use of electronic health records (EHR), artificial intelligence, machine learning (AI/ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Courses
For the spring 2023 semester, the School of Communication’s Interactive Media program is offering a course in “Wearable Technologies.” This studio course will focus on wearable technology, electronic textiles, and soft computing, and will give students hands-on experience in building wearable computing platforms.
