IDSC was honored to present Claus Ekstrøm, professor and vice-chair at the Section of Biostatistics, University of Copenhagen, for a lecture at the Richter Library on Wednesday, December, 1, 2021. Dr. Ekstrøm’s primary research interests are centered on developing methods for the analysis of high-dimensional data problems and causal discovery. Elias Stephan has 24 cumulative years of service with HP Inc., and has held a variety of roles in and outside of HP from leading business development, globally, for the HP XR solutions and HP Immersive Computing in the Americas, to directing GTM for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Flexible Capacity, running the Personal Systems business overseas, and driving channel sales in Canada. But Eliot Siegel, M.D., Professor of Radiology and Vice Chair of Research Information Systems at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, doesn’t believe AI technology will replace radiologists any time soon.
